Post Graduate Diploma Program in Disaster and Livelihood Recovery

tisscampus

The current diploma programme emerges from the above identified gap, especially in the post Earthquake context of Nepal. A diploma programme which equips young graduates, from disaster hit communities, with appropriate inputs to be able to examine, conceptualize and deliver on Livelihood and Social Entrepreneurship initiatives among the disaster affected communities locally and internationally. They would spend 8 weeks at TISS (over two semesters) and get back to the field as Disaster Livelihood Recovery and Social Entrepreneurship fellows, and operate under the close supervision of faculty members from TISS and Partner Organization Staff (like WDAC, Nepal).
